2016 In Rewind- Top Outfits and Posts

Happy Happy New Year everyone! I planned to publish this post last week but it didn’t happen so, my first post of 2017 is a major throw back to 2016! I blogged actively all through the year, publishing 2-3 blog posts every week unlike 2015 (the year I started the blog), when I published only 2-3 posts per month. 2016 is the year I would like to forget and also remember for so many reasons. There were lot of impromptu and difficult decisions I had to make but it’s also the year that let me come out of my comfort shell. Overall it wasn’t a fun year but I made it out in one piece and may be stronger. I hope 2017 would be a fun year for me as I plan to go on many adventures. Here cheers to making some noise in 2017.

Lessons I learned in 2016

  • If you don’t like where you are or what you are doing, move out asap before it becomes a habit. It’s not worth to force yourself to fit into something you don’t belong/want to.
  • It’s ok to go out of your comfort zone and take a chance even though you are scared. Change is necessary at times to move forward.
  • Never compare your failures/success with someone else failures/success, your growth and ambitions are different from others. Strive hard to be yourself and rest will be assured.
  • Never let anything or anyone decide your self-worth not your job, not social media, not your beloveds. You decide yours.

My only goal for 2017 is to move forward and give my best. Like I said in my Instagram post, I don’t want to have way too many goals, just focus on one thing at a time. Another goal I have for 2017 is to “live plastic free lifestyle”

2016 has seen a lot of shades in terms of fashion. I’ve enjoyed styling and taking pictures of Sasru (my friend) in the first half of the year. When she had to move due to her job, I started posting my own pictures. I am working hard to get better before lens as I tend to freeze up on camera and to create innovative content. I am planning to write more posts on travel and natural beauty.
