When it comes to putting outfits together, I’m always looking to add an additional layer to complete my ensemble. Even if it’s warm outside, I still try to figure out a way to add light layers like a cardigan or kimono or a blazer. There is something about that quintessential third item/ layer that totally finishes off an outfit for me.
Ever since I bought a plaid blazer, I have fallen in love with the casual blazer with jeans looks. Blazers were strictly meant for work earlier, now I see them as an ultimate layering piece that you can sport all year-long. Not only they are super versatile, they dress up any outfit and make it look sleek and sophisticated. Here are my
3 Chic and Trendy Blazer With Jeans Outfits
1. Polka Dot Blazer With Distressed Denim- Oh so Chic
BLAZER WITH JEANS OUTFIT DETAILS:
Mickey Tee | STS Blue Jeans c/o | Topshop Blazer (almost same here; similar 1,2,3) | Castaner Wedges (also available here; last seen here) | MK Bag (last seen here) | Sunglasses ($14)
I love the amalgamation of a snazzy blazer with a graphic tee. It’s SO chic without trying too hard. The light blue graphic tee pairs well with a light wash denim and add a bit of color to the polka dot blazer. The structured shoulders of the blazer make distressed jeans look much less casual.
STS Blue is one of my favorite brands for denim. They fit well and the shades are beautiful. I have been on a hunt for a good light wash denim for quite some time and I finally found it. The distressed detailing on this jeans is not too much or too less. The raw hem is what attracted me to get it- there is something about unfinished hems that attracts me, they are so vintagey.
I added some fun and personal touch to the ensemble with unexpected pops of color. I opted for yellow wedges to bring out “Mickey shoes” and a lilac purse to match the cool tones of the t-shirt and jeans.
2. Fitted Blazer With Wide-leg Jeans- Oh So Classy
BLAZER WITH JEANS OUTFIT DETAILS:
Lace tank | Halogen Jeans (similar 1,2,3,4) | Blazer c/o (last seen here; similar 1,2,3) | Pumps | Leopard Clutch | Sunglasses | Earrings
Thanks to the latest trends, I finally dared to sport wide leg jeans. All this while, I shrugged off saying they are not for my apple shape body and would just droll over the street style looks curated around these 70s inspired jeans, but never cared to try one myself. Now I that I tried, let me tell you they are not hard to style and they most definitely for all body types.
If you are worried that wide leg pants will make your legs look thick, opt for high-waisted ones and style them with a form-fitted top or with a fitted blazer for a sleek look.
I added some neutral and edgy vibes to the outfit with the leopard clutch, camel pumps and gold statement earrings. Silk lace camisoles are the easiest and feminine tops to wear under blazers.
3. Polka Dot Blazer With high Rise Ankle Jeans- Oh So Cool
BLAZER WITH JEANS OUTFIT DETAILS:
Abercrombie Lace tank | Jeans | Blazer | Belt Bag (under $50) | Adidas Sneakers (on sale; last seen here) | Bandana (similar here) | Sunglasses
This outfit screams my style- chic with quirky details. I love adding a personal touch to all my outfits. Whether it’s with the color combo, print mixing, quirky accessories or with a statement bag or shoes.
I mixed floral and polka dot’s in this blazer with jeans outfit, added a statement red belt bag to match with the red stripe on the jeans and finished the look by wearing a bandana scarf as the headband and kept it relaxed with sneakers
I hope you found some inspiration to add a blazer in your everyday outfits. Let me know in a comment, which blazer with jeans outfit is your favorite 1/2/3?
