I finally got my hands on the popular Spanx faux leather leggings after watching people rave about it year after year. I have to say how they look, feel, and elevate any of the cute Thanksgiving outfits you can wear. Even with the bump, I am available to fit into the legging comfortably and rock it.
Whenever I think of a Thanksgiving outfit, comfort definitely a priority but that doesn’t mean you can’t look cute. I put together 5 outfits with the Spanx faux leather leggings. They’re all comfy, chic, and perfect for, however, you’re planning on celebrating the day- as long as you’re following COVID-19 safety guidelines!
Spanx Faux Leather Leggings Pros
I have the Spanx faux leather legging in solid black. They have a great amount of strength so stick to your regular size or size down. I am wearing my true size Small. I love how they elevate any outfit even when paired with a simple sweater, they make you feel powerful and chic. They go with everything: sweaters, hoodies, t-shirts, dressy tops, and mini dresses.
The leggings were a bit of a struggle to get into but once I am in, they hugged all the curves on my body beautifully giving a smooth look. The waistband lands perfectly on my waistline while gently hugging it. They don’t feel tight considering the effort it took to put them on. They have incredible stretch.
The leggings have a subtle sheen which I absolutely love. It makes them look classy! The legging comes come in regular, petite, and tall sizes. The sizing rum from XS to 3x.
Spanx Faux Leather Leggings Cons
First and foremost the cost, they are pricey for legging but they are incredibly versatile. I see myself wearing it for years as they will go out of style. Second, the waistband tends to slip down every once in a while, I am assuming it’s because of my bump but with one tug I am all set.
If you have an apple shape body, avoid pairing the legging with muffin tops!
