It’s ironic how my need to be a wallflower completely contrasts my love for bright colors. I am the kind of person who likes to take charge but doesn’t like to draw attention to myself. I feel it predominately shows up in all my outfits since I tend to tone down colorful pieces by mixing it with neutral hues.
Today I’m up for the challenge to not to be a wallflower but to be a showstopper in this cute orange monochrome outfit.
When I attended Pre-Fall 2018 Fashion Week last year, I noticed Orange was prominent in all the runway shows. The beautiful orange, that is slightly red than yellow, Russet orange also tops the Pantone color list this year. The beauty of this color is that it looks great on colored skin as well.

Ann Taylor has been championing the colorful workwear lately. I have always been a fan of their clothing, lately little more because of all the fun colors they have been adding every season. Honestly, I never thought I would find work trousers in orange, that doesn’t make me look huge and are under $50. Yes! both trousers and blouse are on 40% off right. The trousers can be worn with burgundy, blush, rust, olive, and of course black and white.
