5 Chic Ways to Wear the New Chunky Sneaker Trend

Ever once in a while, I blow my mind by getting on board with the trends I never imagined I would. Earlier this year it was the belt bag trend and now it’s the chunky sneakers. But, I’m not surprised by my fondness for these kicks. I’ve always loved platform sneakers and the chunky sneakers are the bigger and contemporary version of them.

I know you might be thinking nah! they’re not my style. Honestly, I felt that way with almost every passing trend but then I find myself fancying them once I incorporate them into my personal style. I firmly believe that you don’t have to change your personal style or go way out of your comfort zone to adopt a new trend, you can seamlessly blend them into your personal style.

Today, I’m sharing how I incorporated the new chunky sneaker trend into my personal style- which is modest, casual and chic. I am styling my favorite Fila disruptors in 5 ways. I completely love the baby pink color, it’s girly with a bit of sass. I was assuming the sneakers would be heavy but they weren’t. In fact, they were really comfy. I recommend sizing up as they tend to run small.
