I love classy pieces that can carry me through the years without being outdated, but what makes me excited about dressing up at times is trends. I love incorporating seasonal trends into my wardrobe while staying true to my modest and chic personal style.
With summer fast approaching and spring in full bloom, there are 2 seasons full of new trends and styles we can now hop onto. But finding out what’s in style each season can be confusing and time-consuming..
So, here is my Spring & Summer edition of “Modest and CuteFashion Trends”
1. Redefine Floral Print with Power Suits
The floral print is a more of a spring classic than a trend but a newer trend you might see this season is smaller, ditsy florals. The power suit has been popular for the past few seasons and shows no signs of slowing down. In fact, it gets updated each season. This floral suit set is a perfect way to embrace spring and staying on top of your fashion game.

2. The Utility Trend
Utility pants and jackets are considered as spring classics. However, this year utility is found in all types of clothing, from tops to jumpsuits to dresses. I dressed up these trending utility cargo pants with an oversized blazer and a pastel blue sweater. You can switch the sweater for a tee.

3. Earth Tones
If you’re a fan of tans and browns, it’s time to celebrate. Earth tones are definitely showing up everywhere this year, in pretty much every style of clothing. It’s always nice to see a basic neutral trending. For this modest spring outfit, I kept the whole look monochrome in black and added tan hues in jacket and accessories.

4. Whites & Pastel Tones
It’s no surprise that lighter shades are taking over the spring season. All tones of light colors and whites are in full swing right now. Plus, they are very easy to incorporate into your wardrobe. A simple LWD will do the magic but don’t be afraid to try white or pastel color pants and skirts. For this modest Spring outfit, I dressed down the white midi skirt with a basic striped paste tee and denim jacket.

5. Neons
Fluorescent shades already hit the fashion scene last year. The 80s trend is still growing strong this year and there is no escaping from it. Zingy shades of lemon, lime, tangerine, and fuchsia are the most popular neons right now. I dared to pair the fluorescent yellow with bright fuchsia and finished this modest spring outfit with yellow animal print pumps.
