The Toddler Friendly One pot Broccoli Cheddar Pasta is one of V’s favorite meals, it fail-safe recipe that never disappoints. On days when Vihaan doesn’t eat lunch well, I make this for dinner so we have at least one good meal day!
It’s easy takes only 15 mins to make, is healthy and delicious. Most toddlers love pasta so this recipe will surely become your go-to weeknight meal!
Toddler-Friendly One pot Broccoli Cheddar Pasta
Ingredients
- I recommend using low salt and good quality cheese, I use Cabot brand white cheddar or yellow cheddar depending on what I find at our local Whole foods.
- For milk, you can use whole milk or any plant-based milk of your choice.
- I recommend using small elbow macaroni pasta, it cooks fast and gives the impression of mac and cheese for the toddler. For babies (6-9 months old) use bigger size pasta. If using different size pasta, refer to the package instructions for cooking time, if the pasta is getting dry you can add more milk to adjust the consistency.
Storage Instructions
Refrigerator- Store it for 2 days in an air-tight container
Freezer- Avoid adding cheese at the end, transfer it into a freezer-safe airtight container once it’s cool, and store it for 3 months.
Alternatives
You can also add grated carrot along with broccoli and make it only with carrot, it tastes equally good (carrot adds a bit of sweetness, it’s more yummy)!
