Pink Georgette Anarkali Suit

In the realm of ethnic fashion, the Anarkali suit has remained a timeless wardrobe staple since the time of the Mughal Empire. It embodies the essence of tradition, elegance, and femininity. Over time, it underwent various transformations, influenced by cultural shifts, regional preferences, and fashion trends. Today, the contemporary Anarkali boasts luxurious fabrics, ranging from sumptuous silks to lightweight georgettes, adorned with minimal to fully intricate embroidery and innovative designs, all while retaining its classic charm.

Pink Georgette Anarkali Suit

What stands out about this Anakarli suit is its vibrant pink color, which makes it ideal for various occasions, from festive celebrations to intimate gatherings. The lightweight Georgette fabric flows gracefully, ensuring comfort and allowing you to glide through any occasion easily.

The Anarkali suit is adorned with exquisite Pittan embroidery, gracing the neckline and all over the suit. Pittan embroidery is a traditional Indian embellishment technique in which the design is first traced on the fabrics; then, embroidery is done using metallic threads—gold, silver, rose gold, copper, etc. Then, the embroidery is beaten with a wooden hammer to give it a flatter, more solid look. Pittan work is now done only my machines.

Embracing the regal allure of the Mughal era, I paired the Anarkali suit with Kundhan Sheesh phool. The one I am wearing is an easy-to-wear headband encrusted with Kundan stones and intricate floral motifs. Complementing this headband, I chose Kundan earrings.
