Valentine’s Day is around the corner so today I’m excited to share some Valentine’s day cuteness with this easy and chic outfit I put together featuring my favorite blouse from Shein, one of my favorite online shops for cute and affordable clothing.
This blouse is great for going out for a romantic lunch or galentine’s day celebration with your girlfriends or just to get into the spirit and feel extra bubbly.

I usually avoid wearing loosely fitted peplum blouses since they look huge on me (short torso and big chest girl problems). But this top was a chance I wanted to take after reading the reviews. I fell for the cute ruffle detailing at the waist and the feminine colors.
Peplum top works well on my body when 1) the top starts to flare out an inch above the naval 2) It’s well fitted in the chest, shoulder, and armpit.
This blouse is loose in the chest and shoulder but it flares out right at the spot giving it a structure and cinched look at the waist.

I have to mention about my love for Ag jeans. Seriously, I don’t think I will ever buy another brand of denim. They fit amazing, the denim is soft made of 98% cotton and AG denim is always a beautiful “blue” denim which I love. The shades are very very pretty in person, super stretch skinny from waist to ankle. I always size down from normal 26 since they stretch.
This is my third pair of them. I have this distressed jeans that I snatched 2 years back in Nordstrom Anniversary sale, they always go on sale every year and these velvet jeans that are currently on sale.
Also, I introduced these jeans to my best friend Lakki, now she raves them more than me. She bought these beautiful faded blue jeans that always get sold out. I am totally watching them so I can snatch them when they’re back in stock.
They are expensive jeans priced above $200 but most of their jeans go on sale within $100-$150. Nordstrom Rack carries AG Jeans under $100 but finding them in your size can be a challenge.

I love this top. I too have issue with Peplum tops because of big boobs! They always look huge on me! But I agree, if they flare at the right spot, and are fitted in the shoulders and arms, they can work well. Such a cute but subtle look!
jeans and shirt are an evergree, so cozy and romantic. And those ankle boots give everything a more “aggressive” touches
