An accessory can make or break an outfit. Whether it’s a statement jewelry, or vintage sunglasses or a scarf when done right can take your outfit to a next level. You can experiment with different styles by adding a simple accessory like wearing a neck scarf with a t-shirt dress will take your outfit from casual to dressy. Also, by simply switching accessories you can re-wear clothing items in different ways.
In today’s post, I am sharing what Summer and Fall accessories are trending right now and for the upcoming season. These trends are nostalgic since most of them are a major throwback to the 90s, taking me back to my wonderful childhood days.
My Favorite Summer and Fall Accessories
1. Hoop Earrings
The major 90’s throwback earring trend takes me back to my childhood days making me realize how versatile they are since I used to wear them every single day with every outfit whether it was western or ethnic. I hope this trend never goes away.

3. Bandana Headbands
Another 90’s revival trend is wearing a bandana as a headband. I am majorly obsessed with it because it’s laid back, edgy and cute all at the same time. Tie a Bandana on your head to the top

Seashell jewelry not only instantly makes an outfit bohemian and beach-ready, but it also evokes a nostalgia for childhood summer days. Whether you are vacation in beach or bridesmaid-ing at a beach wedding or hanging living in denim, shell jewelry goes perfectly with any outfit.

6. Tiny Sunglasses
The matrix or tiny sunglasses are everywhere right now. They are not the most flattering shape but they come in multiple styles to choose from. Cat-eye will look great on narrow and angular shape face, rectangle shape on round and oval face shape, the oval shape looks best on heart shape, square and round face shape.

7. Straw / Basket Bag
Straw bags are rather a classic for summer since the trend keeps coming back every year. It’s the most coveted bag right now as they are super versatile and can be styled all year round. You can rock the smaller straw baskets and clutches in fall and winter.

When it comes to the hat trend this summer, the bigger the better. As someone who is always looking for some extra sun protection, this trend is just for me

9. Chunky Sneakers
The chunky/ugly shoe trend opposes everything we usually look in shoes-sleek and elongated. That’s what makes this trend so unique. I know not many people are a fan of it but I always keep an open mind when it comes to trends as you can always find a way to incorporate any trend into your personal style.
