Double denim or denim on denim is one of those “won’t be going anywhere” trends. As someone who loves chambray shirts and denim jackets, double denim is one of my favorite combos. A lot of women find it masculine and overpowering but when it’s done right, it can look chic and classy.
The first rule of thumb for rocking the denim on denim outfit is by choosing denim washes and colors differently from each other. If you are a choosing a light wash chambray shirt or denim jacket, pair it with darker shade denim bottom like dark blue or black or dark grey jeans.
The second rule of thumb is making sure all the pieces fit you perfectly. No baggy pants and loose shirts unless you slim them with a fitted jacket. In this outfit, I am wearing skinny jeans with a fitted shirt. Everything fits perfectly giving a polished and well put together look.
But in this post here I wore the chambray shirt with boyfriend jeans that are loose fitted. The outfit still looks good because the shirt is tucked into the jeans giving a fitted look.
I have been on a hunt for a good backpack that is small and can carry all my essentials like the laptop, water bottle, and other stuff. The search ended when Getaway breeze sent me their backpack.
