Can anything be more Wintery than a fair isle sweater and a pom pom hat? absolutely not!. I am not just saying because I fancy them, but because they are highly functional, colorful (score) and goes easily with anything. This particular fair isle sweater is my favorite because it’s warm, light weight (for layering), can be dressed up or down and can we just talk about the peppy colors on it, aren’t they gorgeous!

Unfortunately, this sweater is sold out. I try not to wear sold items but it’s holiday season, things go on sale and out of stock within hours but not to worry, Jcrew hit a home run with fair isle sweaters this season, they carry a similar one in neutral color and this burgundy one is stinking cute.
Coming to my outfit, I went little overboard with fair isle thing here, the sweater, socks and beanie but you can’t blame me, I am a sucker for all colorful, cute stuff and I’m all about monochrome looks this season! This outfit is a fun way of layering for me, with bold statement and festive colors. I dressed up by layering a shirt underneath but kept it casual with my shoes and quirky by adding a pom pom charm and red vest. Overall, it’s a casual outfit with a quirky twist, hope you like it!

Honestly, I can never have too many of beanies, esp this fair isle one from gap is so festive and looks like Santa hat, isn’t it?. I also love beanies from topshop , they are thick and the shape just sits on the head without falling, I just bought this blue and white one.
