In the last couple of years, Sephora has included a wide variety of true natural brands like RMS Beauty, Ilia, Antonym, Alterna, etc. A growing number of brands also means an overwhelming number of options to choose from.
To make it easy for you guys, I have listed below my favorite natural and cruelty-free beauty products that I have tried, loved and will repurchase in future.

The Best Natural & Cruelty-Free Beauty Products
1. RMS Tinted Powder
RMS Powder in shade Medium
I use this on my face after moisturizer as a regular powder. It does an amazing job with my combination skin. Off course, it doesn’t have full coverage like any other powder but it doesn’t rip off the natural glow of the face as foundation does instead it blends into the skin giving a natural finish. I would any day prefer my flaws over cakey and artificial look.
2. RMS Beauty Living Luminizer
RMS Highlighter in Living Luminizer | RMS Highlighter Palette
This is hands down the best highlighter in the natural beauty market. Looking at the product, I was afraid it would create white patches on my skin instead it gave me this fresh and natural-looking glow. I am obsessed with the dewy finish. It’s currently a must-have in my makeup bag.
After loving the Living luminizer, I bought the quad palette (which also includes the living luminizer shade) but haven’t tried the other shades yet.
Left– wearing the living luminizer in sunlight with Tarte Lip paint in Lovespell
Right– wearing the living luminizer at night with Tarte Lip paint in fomo
I apply it with fingers over the cheekbones, down the bridge of the nose, on the cupid’s bow and very little on inner corners of eyes as it tends to crease on my inner corner.
3. Tarte Lip Paints
Tarte Creamy Lip paint in shade tbt
Tarte Lip paints are my absolute favorite lipsticks. I am a sucker for matte lip colors as they tend to make my lips look fuller. I have these lip paints in 5 different shades and I use them all religiously.
tbt is a pretty mauve shade that blends beautifully with natural lip color creating a natural and fuller look. The creamy consistency doesn’t make your lips dry immediately but eventually, they might depending on how dry your lips usually get. I recommend wearing lip balm at least 15 mins prior to putting on these lip paints.
Tarte Creamy Lip Paint in fomo
Fomo is what I wear the most for my blog pictures. It’s a beautiful mauve color with a hint of purple to it.
Tarte Creamy Lip Paint in Lovespell
Lovespell is the prettiest pink shade lipstick I have seen. It’s bold, beautiful and lights up the face. I wear this a lot as an alternative to red for bold lip looks. It goes very well with Indian ethnic wear also.
These lip paints are super pigmented so taking them off (esp. the bold colors like love spell) will be a work but it’s all worth it. They come off well with this coconut oil.
Tarte Creamy Lip Paint in Bae
Apart from these I also have them in Bae– bold red color (pictured above) and Frenemy– a beautiful burgundy color that is perfect for fall and boho outfits.
4. Tarte Eye Shadow Palette
Swatches from top left to right in the order=> Whisper (light pink), Crush (taupe shimmer), Heartbreaker (brown), Wink (light mauve), First Kiss (mauve shimmer), BFF (plum)
I recently bought this palette and love every single color in it. All 6 shades are gorgeous and highly pigmented. The colors are perfect for everyday neutral looks and for natural smokey eye looks.
Whisper (light pink)– perfect for the inner corner and whole lid as a base
Crush (Taupe shimmer)– This is my favorite eyeshadow for everyday use. I love eyeshadow with little shimmer since I have brown lids and matte colors don’t usually show up.
First Kiss (mauve Shimmer)– It looks more like gold shimmer eyeshadow, perfect for parties and smokey eye looks. I am always drawn towards palettes with gold shades since it’s my favorite eyeshadow in general.
BFF (plum)– This color is perfect for lining lash line. I use brown shades to line my lower lash line as they make my eyes look naturally bigger. The plum adds a little bit of color and gives an impression of a smokey eye. You can use this for the outer corner of the eye for a complete smokey eye look.
5. Ilia Lipsticks
Ilia Lipstick in Paradise
After watching a couple of Korean dramas, I was longing to try an orange shade lipstick since Koreans wear this shade a lot. I was looking for something light, and definitely not matte since matte shades are meant to pop. I found Ilia lipsticks, which are more like a lip balm (very moisturizing) with color rather than a lipstick.
Some of the shades in these lipsticks are not super pigmented. You will have to apply more product in order to get the full color but they are wonderful for everyday use for someone who wants to wear lipstick but doesn’t want it to show up a lot- you get my point, right? and also for someone who has extremely dry lips or doesn’t like to wear matte lipsticks.
On the contrary, if you are a total matte lipstick lover like me, you might not enjoy these much.
Ilia Lipstick in Arabian Knights
Arabian Knights is a pretty berry color with a maroon undertone, ideal for everyday use.
6. Bite Lipsticks
Bite Lipstick in Maple (pic left swatch right) and Beetroot (pic right, swatch left)
My love for Bite lipsticks is never-ending. They were my first natural beauty finds 4 years back and ever since I have never stopped buying them :).
Bite lipsticks are in between Tarte and Ilia as they are super pigmented like Tarte lip paints and moisturizing like Ilia. But they are not long-lasting like Tarte, you might have to reapply it a couple of times or more during the day.
Both Maple and Beetroot are bold colors. Maple is a brick-red color with orange undertone while Beetroot is a bold berry color with a purple undertone. I bought them recently so looking forward to wearing them a lot in Spring and Summer.
7. Tata Harper Regenerating Cleanser
I initially bought it as an everyday cleanser but it’s actually a mild exfoliator than a cleanser. I don’t use it regularly but twice or thrice a week when I have time to massage it into my skin like you do with a scrub.
It leaves skin clean, soft and glowing. It doesn’t dry skin like most exfoliators do and have a pleasant smell.
8. Reverie Anti- Frizz Leave-In Nourishing Treatment
My hair gets a lot frizzy in winter and when I use heating tools continuously. This works wonders as an anti-frizz product, leaving your hair smooth and tangle free. I can skip the conditioner step in the shower and use this instead since it gives the same result.
I stopped using this regularly ever since I started my DIY hair oil therapy. I only use it on the days when my hair needs extra conditioning. If you have really damaged and frizzy hair, this could be your savior.
