Are you a veggie lover or fruit lover? The only way I can get fruits and berries into my system is through a smoothie. And I LOVE smoothies like I love french fries 😀
I like to kickstart my day with a healthy smoothie, I throw in whatever fruits or veggies I have in my fridge and try to create a mean smoothie. Concocting smoothies gets easier when you know your favorite base flavor. You can then experiment with different fruit pairings.
I recently picked up mangoes from whole foods and we had oranges that were going bad so I thought I would mix them and add in a superfood to make it extra healthy.

The superfood I am using in this recipe is Goji berries. They contain all the amino acids, including all eight essential amino acids. all the macronutrients (protein, fat, and carbohydrates), loaded with over twenty vitamins, and minerals. Many clinical trials support that goji berries can treat eye, boost the immune system, improve memory, aid weight loss, and act as a potent anti-carcinogen.
If you are on certain medication or pregnant, speak to your doctor before adding them to your diet.
Orange Immune Booster Smoothie
The other ingredients I tend to add in almost all my smoothies is collagen protein or hemp seeds. Collagen is the protein that connects tissues in the body including tendons, ligaments, skin, and muscles. Taking collagen can boost healthy-looking skin and hair.
Immune Boosting Smoothie Recipe with Orange, Goji Berries and Mango
Ingredients
- Serves 2
- 1 cutie orange
- 1 ripped mango
- 1/4 banana frozen/fresh optional
- 2 tbsp of goji berries
- 2 tbsp vegan collagen protein or 2 tbsp hemp seeds optional
- 2 cup of ice water or 11/2 cup water & 1/2 cup almond milk
Instructions
- Blend the oranges and other ingredients, except the ice, until smooth.
- Add the ice and blend again. Adjust the consistency and taste as per your needs
