Why did you start this space?

Dreaming loud is the outlet of my dreams/ my other passions in life. I started this space as a medium to document by journey towards the lifestyle I dream of that is both green and glamorous.

Is blogging your full-time Job?

No. It feels like it though! I am a full-time software developer and I work every minute I don’t spend on my current job.

Who takes your pictures?

All pictures in the blog and other social medias like Instagram and Facebook are either taken by my best friend Lakki or by myself using a tripod; unless stated otherwise.

What Camera and Lens do you use?

I use Canon Mark III 5D and 50mm prime lens for all my pictures.

Are all products you mention are 100% natural?

I strive to pick all organic products but not all the time, the products mentioned are 100% organic but definitely a certified natural alternative over synthetic products with no parabens, fillers and other harmful ingredients like the ones mentioned in my ingredients to avoid list. All my homemade recipes are 100% natural

What does c/o mean in your posts?

c/o means “courtesy of”, this products are sent by companies as a gift to review or style them in outfits.

Do you get paid for the beauty products you review?

What are lazy Recipes ?

As the name speaks for itself, these are quick to make, vegetarian or vegan, healthy and require less utensils (all I care about..). These recipes are either exclusive to DL or done my altering the original recipes to make them hassle free and lazy friendly.

Madewell Denim Overall - Dreaming Loud

I will admit, I am still adjusting and getting used to the entire fashion blogging concept. It isn’t all glam and glitter when it comes to shooting pictures. First of all, I am incredibly tentative about standing in front of camera (may come as a surprise) but, I have a tendency to freeze and make weird faces (a lot of my pictures end up in recycle bin) and second, there are lot of obstacles to jump around like weather, lighting, location, clothes selling before you shoot them, pushing them live at the right time, people staring at you with confused looks and above all not forgetting your clothes or camera or memory card before heading to the shoot, exactly what I have been up to lately

Firstly, I forgot my gloves on the most chilly day we had, imagine the agony of my palms. I went back home to grab my gloves. While, I did I thought I would check the pictures we took so far (as I was using my old and not so great Camera). In a hurry, I forget to unplug the memory card from my laptop. I was so exhausted to go back again so we decided to shoot the rest with my powerhouse iPhone 6s. Surprisingly, they came out pretty awesome. All the pictures with me wearing gloves are shots from iPhone.

Coming to the outfit- I have been look out for a red parka since last year. I’ve been eyeing this MK one, which is always sold out in my size (I ordered them twice and every time my order was cancelled). I am really glad I did not buy them because I absolutely love everything about this pendleton parka – the color, inner lining, pockets, sweater detail for hands, everything is absolutely gorgeous. It’s not easy to find a proper red coat (not the organ ish or flaming red but actually red) and when you find them, you snatch.

Similarly, it isn’t also easy to find a skinny overall that will not make you look 2 sizes up. This overall is very well made and skinny as it defines. The pocket detail makes it unique and cute.
