Easy & Natural Valentines Day Makeup Tutorial Using Green Beauty Products

With Valentine’s Day fast approaching, I have a gorgeous and easy makeup tutorial, using all green beauty products. Scroll down for all the step by step tutorial!

For this Valentines Day tutorial, I am using all non-toxic and cruelty-free products from ILIA, Jane Iredale, RMS Beauty, and Aether Beauty. This makeup look is ideal for a casual date, with pretty pinks and shimmery eyeshadows to enhance your natural beauty and mesmerize your Valentine!

VALENTINES DAY MAKEUP: FACE

Prep the skin by following your everyday skincare routine. Follow this with a primer for improving the appearance and longevity of the makeup.

Apply the Live Tinted color Corrector around the mouth and under the eye. This does a decent job of correcting the discoloration around my mouth but it’s not enough to conceal my dark circles. You can also use the Huestick as a blush or lipstick.

I love ILIA Serum Foundation. It doesn’t leave my skin looking cakey rather gives a smooth and dewy complexion. Use an oval brush or a beauty blender to blend the corrector and foundation. Oval brushes give more coverage, without absorbing as much product as a beauty blender.

I like to follow the foundation with the Jane Iredale pressed powder because it’s lightweight and maintains the subtle glow of the foundation without looking cakey or too thick. The coverage can be adjusted depending on the application. When I am not wearing any foundation I like the full coverage of this Pur pressed powder in Medium tan.

Apply the ILEA Multisstick on the cheeks. I usually go for pink shades with blushes but I tried this orange shade for a change and LOVE IT. The color beautifully blends into my medium complexion, adds color without looking overdone for a perfectly natural look. You can also use this multistick on eyes and lips.

VALENTINES DAY MAKEUP: EYES

Use the Jane Iredale brow pencil to fill and define your brows. For more voluminous eyebrows follow the brow pencil with ILIA brow gel. I love this product, with just a few strokes, my brows look full and natural. Plus, It’s doesn’t flake or stiff.

Apply the Aether palette shimmery shade (top row, 3rd one from the left) all over the lid. Use the lighter shade (Top row, 1st one from the left) as a highlighter to highlight the brow bone, cupid bone and the bridge of the nose.

Every color in this palette is beautiful,  pigmented and can be worn on a daily basis. It includes both shimmery and matte shades. The shimmer is just the right amount to wear it for day or night. The packaging is fully recyclable and zero waste. It’s a bit pricey but the palette doesn’t expire for 3-4 years. Plus, you can use it every day.

Create a cat-eye or just line your eyelids using the RMS liquid liner. I’ve looking for a good clean beauty eyeliner for years, I FINALLY found it. It glides on easily, doesn’t smudge and stays all day (if I don’t rub my eyes). The felt tip pen makes it easy to touch up and get either a thin or thick line.

Highlight the inner corner using the RMS Beauty Highlighter pencil or you can use the same eyeshadow as above with your ring finger or a point highlighter brush.

Apply the ILIA limitless mascara for ultimate Bambi eyes.

VALENTINES DAY MAKEUP: LIPS

Line your lips using the Jane Iredale lip liner. This nude shade exactly matches my natural lip color, it’s my universal lip liner for all lipstick shades but you use the lip liner that matches the lipstick for a fuller look. Lip liners act as primers to boost the color and longevity of the lipstick. They also help the lipstick go on more evenly and prevents it from bleeding

Apply the ILIA Colorblock lipstick by starting from the center of your lips and brush the lipstick outward, filling in all the gaps. These ILIA lipsticks are super pigmented and hydrating. I can’t rave enough about them. The formula is amazing and the colors are gorgeous. I also love the Ultraviolet shade in this. It’s bold and beautiful. The lipstick doesn’t stain or dry my lip. They are easy to remove and staying power is decent.

I am a sucker for matte lips, the ILIA lipstick is slightly bit glossy for my likes. I mattified the look with the Tarte lip paint

Spray the Jane Iredale makeup setting spray all over the face. It’s super hydrating. It brings back the subtle glow when makeup gets matte. However, with this makeup look, there is no chance for the makeup to look cakey but I just like the extra dewiness the spray adds.
