IT’S A WRAP! After 8 IG Reels, 20 IG Posts, and 14 blog posts, I made it to the end, you guys 😃 here is a recap of all my Navratri 2022 Outfits.
Did you think I would make it to the end? Because I didn’t! This whole year I struggled to commit to things because of several factors. One is low self-esteem, sprinkled with mom guilt; it’s not a fun combo; it will push you so quiet that you will find it hard to be yourself. You will start to doubt everything you ever liked about yourself! Not being able to lose the baby weight has impacted me emotionally and physically. I feel like I am still stuck in that early postpartum phase, and for me to move on and go back to the old confident me, I need to lose weight. With the Navratri series, I changed my perception; I showed up EVERY DAY with my true self with no apprehensions and self-doubt! I was myself 100% and gave my 100%. I witnessed what I was capable of when I looked past my body and how I looked!
When I didn’t feel good or want to give up, your love and support kept me going, and my mom, who was my biggest cheerleader. She was over the moon that I wore all these sarees, wore a bindi, bangles, and jewelry every day As soon I posted on IG, I would receive a message from her saying, “you look beautiful in the saree,” followed by a phone call where she could share corrections on my saree draping 😃 she enjoyed it thoroughly, and I enjoyed our late night conversations. I will cherish and will long for them every Navratri!
