If you celebrate Onam, here is a simple Onam outfit idea. It’s not the traditional Kasavu saree but offers you a similar festive look. Onam is a famous harvest festival celebrated across Kerala, India. The festival is celebrated for ten days starting from Aug 30th to Sept 8th. It is celebrated by decorating the house with flowers, floral rangoli (Pookkalam), boat races, and the Onam feast (Onasadya).
Women wear a special kind of saree called Kasavu saree; these are handwoven sarees in white/off-white with a golden border.

Here is a close-up of the Chikankari work that is done in the same color as the saree; it’s soo elegant and beautiful. It was an easy drape as well!
The heroine of the outfit has to be the mesh chain choker from Ragula Raatnam; it’s simple yet stands out beautifully! I also love the mid-size earrings that can be worn by themselves!
