Any clothing item that makes me spin after every few steps is my absolute favorite. This Son de Flor dress is full of flare and much more. Made with natural materials by hands, the style of the dress is unique, timelessly elegant, romantic, charming and everything I look for in a dress.

Modest Design

The neat neckline, shirt dress style cut and the length of the dress are what attracted me to this dress. It’s very hard to find dresses with decent length these days, especially in the United States. Whenever I find one, the dresses either comes with side/front slits that completely expose your legs or revealing neckline.

I was so happy to connect with Son de Flor. Their craftsmanship and attention to the details are exceptional- the peter pan collar, cute buttons, side pockets, and the incredibly tailored full skirt. Everything is just right about the dress and screams my name.

We had a little taste of Spring last weekend when the weather finally hit 70F. It was a perfect day to make a trip to our favorite Strader’s garden center. They have an incredible collection of indoor and outdoor plants. We bought a bunch of plants, and seeds to grow vegetables. I can’t wait to start gardening in next few weeks.

This poppy linen dress was ideal for the weather as it is made of linen. It was extremely breathable and lightweight. The color was fun and beautiful with the greenery everywhere.

I was eagerly waiting for the poppy linen dress to arrive in the mail. As soon I wore it, I fell in love with it even more. The Paravel bag goes beautifully with the dress, The mini bag has become my Spring essential lately. It’s cute as a button and the neutral color goes well with the season prints and colors.

I can’t stress enough about how much I love Banana Republic pumps. They are seriously the comfiest and the name “8-hour pump” is apt for them. You can walk hours in these pumps without any pain in your feet. The nutmeg color goes well with any color outfit.

The one I am wearing is my friend Lakki’s shoes, they are bock heel pumps but the ones I have are these regular pumps (worn here) which are completely worn out as they are my everyday heels to work. I am going get a pair of these block heels since the block heel looks prettier than the regular pointed ones.

I love my Son de Flor linen dress. I wish I could buy one in every color esp in white, and marigold. They also come in short sleeves. The dress came with a  secret scroll in the pocket (I forgot to take a picture of it) that had a beautiful poem inside.
