Spring Trench

Hope everyone had a lovely weekend. Last few weeks, the weather has been very unpredictable for us. Though my outfits and closet scream spring, but the weather here in Ohio still feels like winter. I hate and love the fact that, warm weather clothes are all introduced in January. I love that, I can have my hands on all trends and cute stuff way ahead but I hate the fact that I can’t wear them. Most, of the time I end up buying stuff in the fear that my favorite pieces will disappear in stores by the time I can actually wear/buy them. I wish brands release their collections based on weathers in individual states (I bet they will have real fun time predicting OH weather)

Coming to the outfit– Sasru (the lady in the pictures, my new model 🙂 ) has a frame body shape with longer lower body (leggy lass). She looks amazing in jeans or in any pants in general. I like to style her in different moods and styles (like this maxi looks amazing on her) but a casual looks with a boyfriend or distressed jeans is always my favorite and very spring/summer appropriate.

Talking about spring, I did a mini Instagram post on my favorite Spring essentials last week. Adding to that, trench coats are definitely a must have for me. As much I love my regular tan trench coat, I also get bored of wearing them everyday. I keep looking for varieties every year and this year I am awestruck with this blue trench vest, this stripe one, drape coat and crop trench (more in the widget below)

I kept it simple with the top by wearing a comfy tank but in the same hue as the trench and my favorite favorite distressed jeans (sized 1 size up). For accessories, I kept it simple by adding a choker necklace has a bracelet and a beanie as it was cold outside. You can switch the beanie with a hat/cap if you live in actual spring land :). For shoes, I went for white lace ups (off course!) to compliment blue and lavender.
