“In the end, she became more than what she expected. She became the journey, and like all journeys, she did not end, she just simply changed directions and kept going.” R. M. Drake
Ever since I got married in early 2019, things have changed radically. I took a break from my day job, moved to Maryland to live with my husband, and got a new pup. My preferences and priorities have taken new turns and I’ve moved in ways I never thought I would ever enjoy but for some reason, I do.
Taking a break was something I thought I was incapable of doing, let alone living with a dog. If there is something these past few months have taught me is to not just find Joy but to bring the joy, to stay in the moment with the feeling or task, and to experience new things with an open/renewed heart.
As we move through life, we find new paths, we change, we become more than we were before, and yet still less than what we will ultimately be. Layered within, are all the emotions we feel, the happiness and hope, love and pain, contentment and disbelief, isolation and peace, pride and guilt. This journey, the story, there is a more to it, keep moving.
Let’s talk about this floral maxi dress look: this is seriously the most whimsical dress I’ve known. It has a very feminine fit and the cute ruffles make the dress flowy and bohemian. This floral maxi dress is completely lined without feeling heavy thus making it very spring/summer appropriate. I am wearing a size S, and it’s true to size. The best part is you can actually customize the length of the dress, you can either choose knee/maxi length.
