My 21 months old made these Greek Yogurt waffles over the weekend with little help from me (of course!); it’s that easy to make, and a great way to add some protein, calcium, and probiotics to your breakfast. I used a heart waffle maker to make these adorable heart waffles for Valentine’s day.
These Greek yogurt waffles are freezer friendly and the recipe also works great for pancakes!
Valentine’s Day Greek Yogurt Waffles
How to Store The Greek Yogurt Waffles
Store the waffles in the fridge for 3-5 days in an airtight container. Just put them into the microwave, or pop them in the toaster when you want to eat.
To Freeze
- Once the waffles are completely cool, add them to a freezer bag in a single layer, add a piece of parchment paper and then add the second layer.
- Remove the air as much as possible, seal the bag, and pop it into the freezer. You can store them for 6 months.
To Thaw
- As required, remove a few at a time and either thaw overnight in the fridge or pop them in the toaster like a traditional freezer waffle.
