Floral are no longer a spring thing, now they can be worn in fall and winter (esp for the holidays)! I love this jacquard skirt, it’s metallic, and the bold floral are sure to make a statement, while the classic silhouette will never go out of style. So, pick a floral this season and break all the rules, don’t forget to twirl and dance rest of the year.

We initially planned to take pictures outside, but it was too windy to wear a skirt and avoiding Marilyn Monroe moment was next to impossible. So, we decided to take it in, near this beautiful Christmas tree. I apologize for bad quality pics, the lighting was off, but my desperateness was too high to ignore (shameless, as ever!).
For my outfit, I try to keep things more sparkly and bold, I added this burgundy pumps that match my skirt and my favorite metallic gold katespade bag to turn on my festive mood.
To keep things warm, I wore a grey turtle neck sweater from Jcrew, added some knit tights under my skirt (thank you knits, for having my back) and a boyfriend coat from Topshop. The color block arms and the slim fit adds a modern twist to the otherwise traditional boyfriend coat.
The pom pom charm and gold statements rings adds some elements of fun to the outfit!
