Why did you start this space?

Dreaming loud is the outlet of my dreams/ my other passions in life. I started this space as a medium to document by journey towards the lifestyle I dream of that is both green and glamorous.

Is blogging your full-time Job?

No. It feels like it though! I am a full-time software developer and I work every minute I don’t spend on my current job.

Who takes your pictures?

All pictures in the blog and other social medias like Instagram and Facebook are either taken by my best friend Lakki or by myself using a tripod; unless stated otherwise.

What Camera and Lens do you use?

I use Canon Mark III 5D and 50mm prime lens for all my pictures.

Are all products you mention are 100% natural?

I strive to pick all organic products but not all the time, the products mentioned are 100% organic but definitely a certified natural alternative over synthetic products with no parabens, fillers and other harmful ingredients like the ones mentioned in my ingredients to avoid list. All my homemade recipes are 100% natural

What does c/o mean in your posts?

c/o means “courtesy of”, this products are sent by companies as a gift to review or style them in outfits.

Do you get paid for the beauty products you review?

What are lazy Recipes ?

As the name speaks for itself, these are quick to make, vegetarian or vegan, healthy and require less utensils (all I care about..). These recipes are either exclusive to DL or done my altering the original recipes to make them hassle free and lazy friendly.

Winter Wonderland - Dreaming Loud

I hope everyone in east coast is safe and are enjoying there days working from home (or at least few). There is something about winter that makes me want to wear skirts. It’s fun, cute and I feel like a Korean girl walking in a snow storm (not exactly a storm). Perhaps that “something” must be the fact that, I can never comfortably wear this -short skirts in Summer. So, on a final note (as we say in corporate world) not even a snow storm can really stop me from wearing a cute skirt and walking in the winter wonderland, which might be my backyard and not Alaska (duhh!!)

Talking about snow- I’ve waited all December for a good snow day, to go out and have a massive snow fight with my friends (Guys! it will be a Olympic sport soon, so see you in the batter field, if I survive this winter) but the weather was more than what we have imagined or asked for. We had to rush inside after being photobombed by wind constantly. Within those 10 mins I spent outside, I realized, why people actually make or love those- Winter expectations vs reality You tube videos 🙂

I seriously thought the photo session was a disaster but luckily I can now confidently say I wore a red plaid skirt and not a giant white gown (all thanks to my bff). I’m loving all the styles I’ve been experimenting with skirts lately like this plaid on plaid look (Thank you all for the positive feedback). Now, I’m on a serious hunt for some awesome mid-length and mini skirts (Check the slide bar below and you can thank me later!). So watch out for some serious madness.

Bring it on winter, I’m happy to take you from my couch (next time).
