This time of the year is always magical with all the Christmas decorations, fun get-togethers, parties, and holidays. Though I am not a Christian, it’s one of my favorite times of the year. Being born and raised in the most diverse country and being an alumnus of a missionary school, Christmas celebrations have always been a part of my life. I remember my teachers dressing up as Santa Claus and distributing chocolates, it’s one of my fond memories from my childhood and not to forget the winter holidays, they were the best!
Celebrations are in full swing right now. I bet your schedule must be jam-packed with holiday events and soirees. To make holiday dressing easy for you, here are my 5 tips to look festive no matter the occasion.
5 Easy Holiday Outfit Ideas
1. Reach for sequins and gold prints
This is the only time of the year when excessive glitter is both encouraged and appreciated. So jump at the chance to overdress with no past regrets. Printed pants or skirts, glitter shoes, sequin tops, and velvet blazers are some of the easy ways to add glam to your outfit. Remember the saying the more the merrier before picking your outfit this holiday season.
This first-of-the-holiday outfit idea is perfect for office parties. It is formal and has the right amount of glam to it. I chose the pants and shoes to work the magic for me and kept the rest of the look simple.

2. Find a festive focal point
Add a bold element that will instantly make your outfit more festive like red lipstick, statement earrings or a necklace or shoes that shine! Anything that pops out and adds a little oomph to your party outfit is your friend my friend!.
For this outfit, I wore a simple plain dress but went bold with Venessa Monney gold earrings and a statement jacket for Old Navy.  This outfit is great for cocktail parties or soirees.

3. Holiday palettes inspired
If you are all about customs and traditions then an ugly Christmas sweater with a Santa hat will do the magic for you. Apart from that, plaid and pieces in red or green will easily set the festive mood. This outfit is great for occasions where you want to feel the festive vibes but don’t want to go overboard. The combination of red plaid and green skirt screams Christmas to me

4. Skinny Jeans are always an option
There isn’t an occasion where skinny jeans can’t make their mark (well! except for a wedding, I guess). A chic detailed blouse, skinny jeans, and heels top any fashion rule book. To add the festive glam, go for party heels and red lipstick. This look is dainty and great for casual home and office parties.

5. Go for casuals that shine
Well, all that is simple can also twinkle! Materials like leather and suede give you the comfort of casual wear but at the same time are graceful like party wear. If you are all about low-key style but want to wear something that will distinguish you from your regular wear then this last-of-the-holiday outfit ideas is perfect for you. Leather legging and glitter sneaks makes a killer casual party combo, isn’t it?
